Dusty Mountain Engineering
This page is under construction and is only partially complete.
The general design process goes through seven steps:
- Requirements gathering- This includes physical limits and potential legal issues.
- Block and Level analysis, software and interface requirements and parts selection.
- Detailed hardware and software design with computer simulations for stability and limits.
- Hardware design such as Printed Circuit Board(PCB) design and layout.
- Software written and simulated, if required.
- Manufacture of hardware and PCB with components.
- Integration and test of hardware, PCB, and software in lab to original requirements.
Note: It is not unusual for a project to loop through the first 3 steps until a satisfactory solution or product is found. These are standard steps most engineering organizations follow.
The lab and test area photos are being taken and will be on this page shortly.
